Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design and ship agentic AI applications across enterprise processes. You will work with sponsors to turn business problems into production-ready solutions, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, and a mix of low-code and custom code within a secure, scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and operating production agentic or multi-agent AI systems.
• Strong knowledge of state management, concurrency, idempotency, authorization, and multi-user systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise APIs and data platforms.
• Knowledge of patterns like retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, MCP.
• Experience with Azure cloud provisioning, security, and end-to-end operations.

We are looking for Forward Deployed Engineers who can design and ship production-grade agentic AI applications across Corporate Functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales. Embedded with process owners and business sponsors, they take real business problems from concept to working solutions that integrate with enterprise systems of record in weeks rather than quarters. Using Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI services, they build secure, scalable applications and establish reusable technical patterns for the wider team.

The Role: Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and harden agentic AI applications that securely read from and write to enterprise systems of record.
• Serve as the technical lead within a small, cross-functional pod alongside business sponsors and process owners.
• Lead rapid, iterative delivery cycles from problem definition and prototyping through feedback, refinement, and production launch.
• Own application quality end to end, including security, reliability, scalability, observability, and governed write-back.
• Select the right implementation approach, using low-code and agent-builder platforms where appropriate and custom code when necessary.
• Ensure solution data is AI-ready through appropriate modelling, governance, documentation, lineage, and access controls in Microsoft Fabric.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, components, guardrails, and best practices while building credibility in new business domains.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building and operating production agentic or multi-agent AI systems used by real customers or employees.
• Strong understanding of state management, concurrency, idempotency, authorization, and multi-user systems that act on systems of record.
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise APIs and data platforms, including designing reliable and safe read/write workflows.
• Knowledge of modern AI application patterns, including retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context design, agent orchestration, tool use, and protocols such as MCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, including provisioning, deployment, security, and end-to-end operations.
• Senior-level judgment, autonomy, and communication skills, with the ability to prototype rapidly, make sound technical decisions, and explain them to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred, but not required:

• Direct experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or comparable enterprise data and agent-building platforms.
• Integration experience with Corporate Function systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, responsible AI, identity and access management, data classification and residency, model evaluation, or business transformation consulting
