Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Senior AI Full Stack Engineer to join a strategic technology initiative within client's Capital Markets. The successful candidate will help design and develop modern AI- powered applications by combining expertise in data engineering, backend services, frontend development, and Generative AI.

The role involves building data pipelines with Dagster and dbt, creating RESTful APIs with Python/FastAPI, and delivering React-based UI using TypeScript and Tailwind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years building GenAI/LLM applications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern data pipelines using Dagster and dbt.
• Build scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop RESTful APIs and asynchronous services for high-performance applications.
• Create responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, TanStack, and TailwindCSS.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON/Halifax, NS is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
