Job Summary

The Personal Support Worker/Health Care Aide works under the supervision of the Director of Care, providing personal care services to meet clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Handle shopping and errands
• Assist with medication reminders and administration
• Support ambulation
• Provide companionship
• Follow care plans
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate/Health Care Aide or equivalent (including foreign-trained nurses or nursing students)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to travel within the territory
