Giusti-Group-Limited-Partnership is seeking a Formwork Carpenter in Alberta, Canada. Pay ranges from CA$32.12 to CA$38.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The role involves building and dismantling concrete forming systems, erecting footings, columns, stairs, and scaffolding, and reading blueprints. Requirements include 1+ year in formwork carpentry, proficiency with power and hand tools, and the ability to work long hours and Saturdays if needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in cribbing / formwork carpentry.
• Proficiency using an array of specialized power tools, machines, and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Motivated, hardworking, able to work long hours and Saturdays if needed.
• Team player and safety oriented.
• Personal hand tools and skill saw required.

• Build and set footings
• Erect and dismantle concrete forming systems such as camlocks, burke clamps, and pilosio modular formwork.
• Construct and erect columns
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding
• Construct suspended slabs
• Form concrete stairs
• Construct elevator cores
• Build retaining walls

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in cribbing / formwork carpentry
• Proficiency using an array of specialized power tools, machines, and hand tools

• Valid safety certificates such as: Fall Arrest, First-Aid, Telehandler Forklift Certificate, are assets.
• Valid driver's license & own vehicle as transit is not always reliable
• CSTS training is a prerequisite for employment. If you do not have this training, it can be made available.
