Fuze HR Solutions is assisting a Brampton, ON client in finding a reliable Forklift Reach Truck Operator/Warehouse Worker for a Sunday–Thursday night shift. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of 27.88 CAD plus shift premium and opportunities for benefits after permanent hire.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, certification in Raymond Reach, and must be able to work in a cold environment, pass a background check, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Certification in Raymond Reach is required; 5+ years of proven experience minimum.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jack, high lift, sit-down or stand-up reach trucks, Hi-Lift, and Reach Truck.
• Loading & unloading freight and warehouse duties.
• Maintain warehouse security and inventory accuracy; oversee equipment maintenance.

What are the duties of the Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

• Ability to operate on the Pallet Jack, high lift, sit down or stand-up lift truck, Hi-lift, Reach Truck Raymond
• Puttaway Duties
• Loading & Unloading Freight properly
• Efficiency in Warehouse management system and related components
• Maintaining security of the warehouse and floor
• Overlooking inventory count and supplement
• Overlooking malfunction of equipment, keeping machinery fully charged
• Additional duties required: labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking
• Stacking, categorize pallets correctly and efficiently
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped
• Monitor the freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation
• Follow the guideline of the with OSHA standards in place

What are the requirements of the Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker:

• Grade 12 Diploma with post-secondary education is preferred or at least year of working experience
• Certification in Raymond Reach, 5 years Proven experience minimum
• Must be able to work in a cold environment
• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must pass Background Check
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
