About the Opportunity:

Homestar Building Supplies is looking for a reliable and hard-workingForklift Operator / Yard Supportto join our team. This is a hands-on role that involves operating a forklift, assisting with loading and unloading materials, and maintaining tools and equipment used on site. You will play a key part in helping our yard and warehouse operations run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate aforkliftto load, unload, and move materials
• Assist in the yard with handling and organizing skids and inventory
• Help maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Issue and receive tools and supplies as needed
• Keep accurate records of tool usage and report any issues
• Support yard cleanliness and organization
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Perform general physical tasks, includinglifting heavy items
• Participate in closing duties on a rotating schedule

Requirements:

• ValidClass 5 Driver’s License
• Experience operating aforklift(forklift license is an asset)
• Ability tolift and carry heavy materials
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and tool usage
• Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or building supply setting is an asset
• Team player with a strong work ethic
