Job description

Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dried manufacturing company is recruiting for experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker for our locations in Langley BC reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. This opportunity is for the day shift primarily responsible for loading/unloading trucks, preparing and shipping products, receiving and processing incoming goods, and maintaining the warehouse inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating material handling equipment including forklift, etc.
  • Receiving, processing, and inspecting incoming materials within conformances
  • Maintaining records in Excel and WMS accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinating outgoing shipments with all departments to ensure sales adherence.
  • Organizing and maintaining shipments between internal plants and warehouses
  • Validating documentation to ensure the correct product is shipped or received at the plants/warehouses
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Forklift Certificate for Class 1, 4, and 5 is a must
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial goods environment or raw material environment.
  • Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work

Physical Environment

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
  • Comfortable working in temperature-controlled, refrigerated, or chilled environments.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
