Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dried manufacturing company, is recruiting for an experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker for our locations in Langley, BC, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. This opportunity is for the day shift, primarily responsible for loading/unloading trucks, preparing and shipping products, receiving and processing incoming goods, and maintaining the warehouse inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating material handling equipment including forklift, etc.
• Receiving, processing, and inspecting incoming materials within conformances.
• Maintaining records in Excel and WMS accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinating outgoing shipments with all departments to ensure sales adherence.
• Organizing and maintaining shipments between internal plants and warehouses.
• Validating documentation to ensure the correct product is shipped or received at the plants/warehouses.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Forklift Certificate for Class 1, 4, and 5 is a must.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial goods environment or raw material environment.
• Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled, refrigerated, or chilled environments.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
