Job Description
Primary Location:

Ogden, Utah

Forklift Operator:

Operates liquefied gas, gasoline, or electric-powered forklifts to load and unload materials for delivery and production. Responsible for safe operation of equipment, understanding of safety procedures, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Must be able to lift 60 pounds. The environment is usually loud and may include exposure to high places, chemicals, weather conditions, and pressurized containers.

  • Operates forklift controls to move loads.
  • Positions forks or lifting devices to handle pallets, skids, boxes, or materials, and transports loads to designated areas.
  • Unloads and stacks materials, raising and lowering lifting devices.
  • Maintains inventory records and supplies materials to workers as needed.
  • Loads and unloads materials according to load sheets or directives.
  • Records material movements as per procedures.
  • Handles materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Performs maintenance tasks like lubricating trucks, recharging batteries, or replacing liquefied gas tanks.
  • Wears company-provided uniforms and safety equipment to comply with standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
