Job summary

Production in Delta, BC is seeking a Material Handler Equipment Operator to support a fast-paced food production environment. You will safely move product, operate forklifts, verify shipments, and stage orders with accuracy to ensure inventory integrity.

You must maintain FIFO, assist with receiving and dispatching, and uphold sanitation and safety standards while working flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Lift up to 50 pounds in a cool setting.

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or food production setting.
• Ability to read work instructions and shipping specs accurately.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and product integrity.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Move product into inventory and to correct locations safely and accurately.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport products.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments; store properly.
• Prepare, stage, and ship outgoing orders with accuracy.
• Maintain FIFO and replenish picking locations as needed.
• Place palletized products in reserve and pick slots.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and operate safely.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to support workflow.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and uphold sanitation standards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; work in a cool environment (1–4°C).
• Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
