Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting reliable Warehouse Workers for our Delta and Richmond clients. This temp-to-perm role involves sorting, packing, loading/unloading, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Candidates should be ready to work on-site with safety gear and potential forklift duties. Ideal applicants will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of warehouse experience, and a dependable work record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Dependable and reliable individuals preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Current forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience in shipping/receiving and forklift operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Loading/unloading.
• Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping.
• Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by organizing shelves, pallet area and work stations; sweep, dust and mop.
• Wear the proper safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Loading/unlaoding
• Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping
• Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment
