NFI Industries is hiring a Forklift Operator I to move, count, and stage merchandise in the warehouse using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment. You will follow safety procedures, complete pre-operation checks, and support order fulfillment and inventory control.
This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass the NFI forklift certification, and basic math and computer skills.
The Forklift Operator I is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. The Operator ensures the safe and efficient use of forklifts and may also perform order filler or order checker duties as needed, while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures.
The base hourly pay rate for this posting is $24.00. The base hourly pay range is a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay, while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure. The range listed is just one component of NFI's total compensation package for employees.
