Job summary

Leclerc Foods is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to handle distribution, warehousing, and logistics for raw and finished goods. The role requires operating forklifts and ERP systems, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of shipments.

You will perform duties including unloading, packing, record-keeping, and collaboration with team members to meet customer delivery timelines in a dynamic food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (class 1) with clean driving history.
• 2–5 years warehouse experience (food manufacturing preferred).
• Forklift certification or ability to certify/maintain.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient with computers, handheld scanners and printers.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50–55 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Flexible with work hours, overtime and weekends.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Prepare customer orders ensuring accuracy of products and quantities.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Maintain inventory records and participate in physical inventory.
• Record transactions in the computer-based system by scanning items.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and timely loading of shipments.
