Job Title: Forklift Operator - Days

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our new facility. The role involves starting as a Shipper/Receiver and Order Picker, operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts in narrow aisles, and handling heavy boxes. The candidate will also be responsible for loading and unloading trailers and ensuring the accuracy of shipment orders using RF scanners. A strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

Start time 6am to 2:30pm

Pay rate $20/hour

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts in narrow aisles.

• Load and unload trailers for internal transfers between buildings.

• Handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Manually unload, pick products, and verify orders.

• Check shipment orders for accuracy and handle paperwork.

• Label products correctly and store them in designated areas.

• Use RF scanners to verify all orders.

• Maintain strong communication skills for handling paperwork.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of experience with sit-down counterbalance forklifts.

• Comfortable working in narrow spaces such as trailers and narrow aisles.
