Level A Professional Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse environment in Ontario. You will safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory, ensuring accurate order picking and smooth distribution.

Responsibilities include using WMS to track movements, performing routine inspections, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with the team to meet daily schedules while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy duty counter balance forklifts in production/yards.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control.
• Ability to perform basic math for counts and measurements.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting and standing long hours.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for forklift operation.

• Assist with order picking by selecting products according to customer orders with precision and speed
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas and maintaining a clean workspace
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill daily production, shipping and receiving schedules efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy duty counter balance forklifts in a production and/or yard setting
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation and warehouse environment
