Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional Forklift Operator to join our team inQuebec.

What you're responsible for:

• Operatingforklifts and other material handling equipment to transport metals and scrap materials to designated areas within the plant.
• Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and railcars, ensuring that materials are handled safely and correctly.
• Organizingmetal materials by placing them in appropriate storage areas based on their type, size, or weight.
• Assisting in unloading incoming scrap deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Following all plant safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves, a helmet, and safety boots.
• Complying with environmental guidelines for safe handling and disposal of materials.

Qualifications

To join our team:

• You have a Forklift certification (according to company or industry standards)
• You have a minimum 2 years experience operating a forklift
• You have knowledge of safety standards and protocols in an industrial setting
• You are comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, helmets, gloves, etc.)
• You are punctualand diligent with the ability to work in a team and on your own
