Job summary

Lakehead Ironworks Inc. in Rosslyn, ON is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. The role requires manual handling, operation of forklifts and related equipment, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced, outdoor setting.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of related experience, WHMIS certification, and a valid driver’s license. This is a permanent, full-time position with day shifts and potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a WHMIS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products by hand or with basic equipment.
• Operate equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Pick orders and manage stock.
• Create labels and attach them to goods.
• Pack/unpack, sort, crate, and stack goods.
• Install, lash, and secure goods for transport.
• Transport and distribute materials and keep inventory organized.

• The candidate must be capable of loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
