Position:

Second (2nd) Shift Forklift Operator in Packing & Picking airplane parts

Shift:

3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Pay:

$23.25 per hour

Additional Information:

Full-time employees are trained in two warehouse functions. This posting is for packing as the primary function, and picking as secondary.

Candidate Requirements:

• Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada (applications from others will not be considered)
• Clean criminal record
• Minimum 6 months experience operating Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklifts or Reach Trucks, and computer skills
• At least 6 months previous warehouse experience

Role Purpose:

Operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. Check inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and proper coding, ensuring they meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or similar equipment (80% of shift)
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
• Maintain inventory records
• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify loads for accuracy, stability, and damage
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed
• Keep equipment and work area tidy
• Assist with physical inventories and equipment inspections

Education and Experience:

• Forklift certification or completion of training within 30 days of hire
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months warehouse and forklift operation experience preferred
