Must Have

• 5 years of experience on the SDCB
• Preferred experience on 10k forklift
• Experience operating overhead cranes
• SDCB forklift certification (can be obtained through the union)
• Experience handling large and/or long loads
• Analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Job Description

Responsible for accurately receiving, storing incoming shipments of industrial steel and pipe, handling/moving steel between processing areas, setting up steel for processing, accurately loading trucks for outgoing shipments, rigging, packaging, strapping, and wrapping loads, while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced, high-production environment.

Shift

• 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Overtime required during weekdays and weekends, with increased OT during winter

Wage: $27 - $35 per hour
