Job summary

A leading manufacturer of natural quartz surfaces is seeking a Forklift Driver / Overhead Crane Operator in Burnaby, BC. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, with responsibilities including loading/unloading shipments and ensuring a safe work area. Ideal candidates will have some warehouse experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse or general labour experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Forklift and / or overhead crane experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of quartz slabs.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload containers and trucks.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training available as needed).

We are currently hiring for a Forklift Driver / Overhead Crane Operator in Burnaby, BC for our client who's a leading manufacturer of natural quartz surfaces. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team and room to grow. What We Offer :

• Salary : $20-24 / hour + 4% vacation pay
• Job Type : Full Time
• Location : Burnaby, BC V5J 3H6

What You'll Do :

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of quartz slabs.
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for timely delivery.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload containers and trucks.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training available as needed).
• Greet and assist walk-in customers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse and yard environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Provide general support for daily warehouse operations as required.

What We're Looking For :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse or general labour experience preferred.
• Forklift and / or overhead crane experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer skills (experience with scanners, SAP, or MS Office is a bonus).
