Job description

We are looking for someone who can operate a Sitdown and Standup Reach forklift for our client located in the Balzac area.For this position you should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, someone who focuses on safe and efficient handling of warehouse products as well as someone who is punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic.What we offer :

• This role pays $20 / hr
• Growth opportunities
• Afternoon shift – Monday to Friday 230pm-11pm
• Day Shift – Monday to Friday 8am-430pm

What you do :

Safely operate a forklift to load and unload and stack and store product around the warehouse as needed.

Perform regular inspections to ensure the equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns.

Handle products safely and securely, and ensure they are transported to the correct designated areas using the warehouse inventory system.

Provide support with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packaging products for shipping, and performing periodic inventory audits.

Follow company safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are :

Proven experience as a forklift operator. (Certification is considered an asset).

Have a strong understanding of forklift safety guidelines and procedures.

You have high attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Must have CSA approved safety shoes.

Able to pass a criminal background check.

Good communication skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
