Job Description

• Handle products carefully using propane or electrical sit-down forklift
• Transport materials and supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before each shift and switch operators as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of premises and equipment
• Review previous shift's work and plan upcoming tasks
• Notify supervisor of mechanical issues
• Operate forklift safely and meticulously
• Ensure safety protocols to avoid accidents
• Use forklift within its capabilities and limits
• Work outdoors
• Always wear seatbelt
• Clean interior and exterior of the forklift
• Follow health and safety rules
• Perform other related duties

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator’s competency card (renew if expired)
• At least 1 year experience as sit-down forklift operator
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Good attendance record
• Resourceful and punctual
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
