Job summary

Techo-Bloc in Longueuil, Canada is seeking a forklift operator for night shifts (Mon-Thu, 5:30 PM–5:30 AM) with a $23.07–$23.61 CAD/hour base pay plus a $2 CAD/hour night premium. Responsibilities include overseeing shift work, moving materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

• Notify supervisor of mechanical breakdowns.
• Operate forklift safely and meticulously.
• Comply with safety rules to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Be vigilant in driving to avoid collisions with pedestrians, structures, and equipment.

Pay & Schedule $23.07 to $23.61/hour Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM Night premium: 2$/H

Your RoleKey Responsibilities

• Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor
• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line
• Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
• Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits

Outdoor work environment

• Be buckled up at all times
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
• Comply with company health and safety rules
• All other related duties.
