Job summary

VF Corporation's Brampton Distribution Centre is hiring a Forklift Driver for mornings and afternoons. You will operate MHE, perform pre-shift inspections, secure loads, and move pallets across the DC to P&D locations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2-3 years forklift experience with certification, strong English communication, and reliable attendance. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at height. CAD benefits explained during hiring.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3 years forklift operation experience with valid certification.
• Good verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to read English on computer/RF screens, labels and tickets.
• Demonstrated safe work history and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues.
• Secure loads to pallets or gaylords before transport.
• Place cartons onto mesh decks and retrieve from racks per SOPs.
• Move pallets to drop zones and P&D locations; handle empty pallets and gaylords.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack and perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and fellow drivers on radio.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be willing to work in other departments as needed.
