Job summary

VF Corporation in Brampton is seeking a reliable forklift operator to join our distribution centre team. You will operate MHE safely, conduct pre-shift inspections, secure loads, and move pallets within the DC according to SOPs.

The role requires good English communication, attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand all day. Shifts include mornings and afternoons, with a starting pay range of CAD 20.80–26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience and certification.
• Ability to read English on computer/RF screens, shipping labels, pick tickets.
• Demonstrated safe work record and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-shift equipment inspection and report issues.
• Ensure loads are secured to pallets or gaylords.
• Place cartons and pallets on racking and in drop zones per SOPs.
• Retrive empty pallets and full gaylords and move as required.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and related tasks.
• Communicate via radio with Supervisor and team.
