Job summary

MCI Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Material Handler to maintain accurate part inventories at designated locations and move parts to and from receiving docks. The role involves operating forklifts and other equipment on the production floor, setting up storage areas, and assisting assembly technicians with lifting and moving materials.

The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is critical.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn forklift license, overhead crane operations, and basic computer skills including Oracle.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to complete Lift Truck Operator program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory at designated locations and move parts to/from receiving docks.
• Operate forklift, walkie rider, and other material handling equipment to move parts to point of use on the production floor.
• Set up storage racks, bins, and carts for proper storage and to prevent damage or loss.
• Create and maintain bins and drop areas for deliveries and removal of parts.
• Support assembly technicians in lifting and moving materials.
• Count and cycle count parts; file rejected parts daily.
• Move trash containers to appropriate hoppers.
• Record part shortage information and report to leadership.
• Receive work direction from department leader.
