Interstate Batteries is hiring a Warehouse Team Member I to support distribution center operations in Canada. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and stock replenishment using RF scanners and warehouse equipment, while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma and good computer skills; prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required. Overtime may be necessary and physical work is expected.

Competenze

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required. Experience in warehouse operations preferred - including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine preferably in warehouse environment
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Sense of urgency and well organized

Mansioni

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• Load and unload batteries
• Restock batteries
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas)
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management
