Job description

We are hiring a Mulcher Operator to manage vegetation control and land clearing using mulching equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with mulchers and a strong understanding of forestry operations.

Responsibilities :

• Operate mulcher to clear vegetation and maintain forestry areas.
• Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with other crew members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications :

• Experience operating mulching equipment.
• Knowledge of vegetation management and land clearing.
• Strong mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently in remote areas.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certification.
• Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) Certification, BSO or CSO equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
