The starting salary for this position is $18.50 per hour.

What will you do in this job?
Night Audit Agents ensure guests receive the best service possible from our properties. They provide guests with their requested room, address their needs, and resolve any complaints they may have throughout their stay. Responsibilities may include:

1. Process telephone calls
2. Process group arrivals and departures
3. Register arriving guests and assign rooms
4. Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payment
5. Take, cancel, and change room reservations
6. Resolve minor guest complaints and refer to Hotel Manager or Front Desk Supervisor as required
7. Refer major guest complaints to Hotel Manager or Front Desk Supervisor
8. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
9. Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and local points of interest
10. Arrange services required for guests with special needs
11. Provide information regarding room status and special guests to other departments
12. Learn the Emergency Response Manual thoroughly
13. Learn the Night Audit procedures
14. Perform related Front Desk duties as directed by Supervisor

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
Previous guest-facing / receptionist experience or education an asset.
Neat and clean in appearance and work habits.
Pleasing, outgoing personality.
Knowledge of languages is considered an asset.
Ability to accept direction.
Solid understanding of guest service principles.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of computers, will train.
Typing skills an asset.
Ability to work within a Team.
