Job summary

PRT Growing Services Ltd. in Campbell River, BC, is hiring seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with tree seedling harvest. You will lift and move seedlings outdoors in a fast-paced outdoor environment and receive full training.

No prior experience is required; you will work under a Nursery Lead and Manager, with safety and quality as top priorities, and there is potential to transition to piecework with higher earnings.

FOREST NURSERY WORKER, LIFT

We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team.

PRT Campbell River is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with our upcoming tree seedling harvest. If you want a physical, fast-paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact, this is for you! You'll be lifting tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. No experience is needed – we'll provide full training.

Your Role & What You'll Do

You'll work as part of a supportive team, under the guidance of a Nursery Lead and Manager. Your main duties will involve:

• Lifting and moving tree seedlings outdoors.
• Learning about forest nursery activities.
• Working independently and efficiently.
• Committing to quality and safety in a safe work environment.

Additional Information

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary information: $18.92/HOUR + an additional $0.75 Health & Welfare per straight time hours for the training period, transitioning to piecework with greater earning potential
