Contractor opportunities are currently available in Sussex, NB, and St. George, NB, for Forest Machine Contractors (Harvesting & Forwarding) and Trucking Contractors (Chip & Roundwood Trucking).
This business is not for everyone. We are looking for hardworking people with resilience and determination to grow along with the operations of J.D. Irving, Limited. We are interested in individuals who have a passion for their work, including business, mechanical, technical, and financial aspects.
Responsibilities
J.D. Irving, Limited has hundreds of contractors owning harvesting machines and trucks. Contractors are paid on a piece rate basis; meaning the more they produce, the more they earn. Being a contractor is challenging but rewarding, offering:
