Job summary

MKA Canada Inc. seeks experienced Construction Claims Consultants / Forensic Schedule Consultants to join our Calgary and Toronto teams.

The role focuses on assessment, quantification and compilation of complex claims across delay, disruption, productivity, and other construction matters. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of claims evaluation experience, with strong knowledge of CPM, EVM, Primavera P6/P3 and MS Project, and a degree in Engineering/Construction Management.

Qualifications

  • The candidate should have 5–7 years of claims evaluation experience.
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of CPM, EVM, and construction contracts.
  • Experience with standard MS software, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6/P3 is required.
  • Expert witness experience is preferable.
  • Resident in Canada with a university degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, quantify and compile construction claims related to delays, disruption, acceleration and termination.
  • Evaluate productivity and manpower/resource claims.
  • Analyze differing conditions, change orders and alternative design claims.
  • Prepare course of construction claims.
  • Assess direct and indirect damages, overhead costs and escalation.
