Qualificações

• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration.
• Experience with clients who have severe and persistent mental illness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well within an interdisciplinary team and independently when needed.
• Willingness to travel within the catchment area and comply with OHSA safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to clients with severe and persistent mental illness as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care and patient progress.
• Support education and rehabilitation activities within forensic psychiatry.
• Respond effectively to psychiatric and physical emergencies and crises.
