Qualifications

Job description

Partner Staffing, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Modular Foreman / Site Lead who will play a key role in supporting the Superintendent with the day-to-day management of construction sites across residential, commercial, modular, and restoration projects. This position is hands-on and requires a proactive leader capable of coordinating field teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Reporting to the Modular Project Manager, the Foreman helps ensure that work progresses according to schedule, materials and resources are used effectively, and project goals are consistently met.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising site personnel, assisting with scheduling, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining daily documentation, and supporting the Superintendent in resolving on-site issues such as material delays or workflow conflicts.
  • Acting as a mentor to junior crew members and apprentices, ensuring safety standards and construction best practices are upheld.
  • Bringing technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills, with flexibility to work on diverse projects and travel within Alberta and Western Canada.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of hands-on construction experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong computer skills for documentation and communication.
  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications are required; First Aid, Fall Protection, or other safety certifications are assets.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects as needed.
