Qualifications

  • 8+ years of construction experience required.
  • Valid first aid certificate is an asset.
  • Valid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015 is an asset.

Position Description: Clark Builders is hiring Foremen for several projects in Saskatoon. The Foremen will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work areas.

Reporting to: Superintendent

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures
  • Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions
  • Lead QA/QC checks and inspections
  • Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings
  • Draft and submit RFI’s
  • Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site
  • Other duties as required
  • Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner
  • Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures


Skills And Knowledge

  • The ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others
  • Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.

  • The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season


Qualifications

  • Journeyperson trade certification
