Title: Forecast and Deployment Analyst

Job Overview/Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain a “Mix” Channel sales forecast (SKU/Week/Location) in order to drive predictability and accuracy.
  • Support the Sales organization in the Channel forecasting process (at the volume level) with analytical information as required.
  • Work together with Sales and Trade Marketing to understand all events / promo activities within major Channels / Trade Partners that may influence the demand signal.
  • Manage product transitions from a forecasting and supply chain coordination perspective.
  • Work cross-functionally within supply chain to ensure alignment on forecasts, deployment and execution strategy
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to the forecast and deployment plans to optimize inventory holding costs and minimize stockouts.
  • Develop and present reports on forecast accuracy, deployment efficiency, and other relevant metrics.
  • Work closely with the production planning team to ensure that the forecast and deployment plans are aligned with production capacity.
  • Identify potential risks to the forecast and deployment plans and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in the S&OP process by providing input on demand forecasts and supply capabilities.
  • Special projects as required

Required Training, Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • University degree is required.
  • Detail orientated with strong quantitative / analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, knowledge of business analysis tools and company ERPs applications desired. Experience using SAP is a definite asset.
  • Ability to adapt by recognizing potential situations and responding with solutions in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be a strong team player that exhibits exceptional relationship building, cross-functional skills and communication skills.
  • Previous work experience in supply chain, demand planning, or forecasting (preferably in consumer goods or retail) is preferred.

Technical Proficiency – Knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP) is preferred , Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) is required.

Attention to Detail – Demonstrates high accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and system inputs to avoid downstream errors.

Analytical Thinking – Strong ability to interpret forecast data, identify trends, and recommend actions to ensure supply-demand alignment.

Problem Solving – Proactively identifies risks and offers practical solutions to minimize service or inventory disruptions.

Communication Skills – Clearly and professionally communicates with cross-functional teams, both written and verbal, especially in high-pressure situations.

Accountability – Takes ownership of tasks with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency, especially during time-sensitive projects.

Adaptability – Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving processes.
