GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate upholds high standards in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every customer has an excellent experience. This role helps establish For Eyes as the premier destination for vision needs in the community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consistently achieve sales goals and company objectives by nurturing existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to find the best vision solutions.
4. Conduct measurements with appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating all customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change accurately
• Strong sales skills and accountability for meeting sales goals
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment
