Position: Independent Contractor – Footcare Nurse (LMC Vaughan location)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive footcare services including assessments, treatment, and patient education
• Manage a diverse caseload with an emphasis on diabetic foot health and prevention
• Work collaboratively with a highly experienced, interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Uphold best practices in sterilization and infection prevention and control
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted registration with your provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body
• Advanced Footcare Nurse certification and relevant clinical experience
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Understanding of:
• CAFCN National Competencies for Advanced Nursing Foot Care in Canada
• IPAC Canada guidelines on instrument reprocessing and infection control
• Provincial scope of nursing practice and confidentiality standards
• Completion of approved reprocessing/sterilization training (PHO, CSA, IPAC Canada, CDMR) considered a strong asset
• RNAO or RPNAO membership
