SUMMARY: The Affinity Group Foodservice Sales Representative is responsible for calling on independent restaurant operations and demonstrating products as well as presenting new and existing menu items. A culinary background would be a definite asset for this role. We provide an extensive training program for eager candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calling on independent restaurant operations and demonstrating product, developing and presenting new & existing menu items.
  • Maximize sales by encouraging restaurants to use products represented.
  • Timely submission of critical reports.
  • Achieve sales projections and targets.
  • Participate at industry trade shows.
  • Cook food products and put menu combinations together to aid in the sale process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidates must possess the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Have a valid driver’s license and own car.
  • Be results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Work well with teams and have strong motivational skills.
  • A positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and oral with a strong command of the English language.
  • Have excellent computer skills at an intermediate level.
  • Have planning and organizational skills.
  • Have culinary experience.
  • Have the drive to succeed and a great attitude.
  • College or University preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
