Job summary

HelloFresh in Calgary is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support receiving, picking, sorting, and shipping per weekly sales orders. You’ll work under a Warehouse Supervisor to maintain accuracy and safety, using our warehouse systems and following FIFO/FEFO to minimize waste.

The role requires physical stamina, 6 months to 1 year in a warehouse, and flexibility for varied shifts, including overtime and weekends. Competitive pay with health benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs.
• Standing for prolonged periods with bending and walking.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse experience in a food processing/manufacturing/service.
• Familiar with MS Office or Google Apps; quick to learn new tech.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with inventory management and control.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Willingness to work in refrigerated/freezer environment (-20°C to 4°C).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment following safety policies.
• Adhere to food safety standards for handling and storage.
• Receive and unload shipments; verify against packing slip and PO.
• Count and weigh items; ensure accuracy of shipment documents.
• Label, tag, and store items per FIFO/FEFO and inventory procedures.
• Perform inventory movements and regular cycle counts.
• Ensure correct use of warehouse management systems.
• Prepare ship-out documents within time limits.
• Support production management to optimize material flow.
