Maynard Nursing Home located in downtown Toronto, ON has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Food Service Aide to join their Long Term Care team.

Shift details: 16 hours/4 days bi-weekly

Shift timing: 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Week 1: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Thursday

Responsibilities

As a new Food Services team member joining our Village, you will:

• Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents.
• Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents, ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.
• Assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and in maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.

Qualifications

To be successful as our new Food Services Team Member, you will:

• Hold a Smart Serve Certificate.
• Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy, and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village.
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members.

It would be an asset if our new Food Services Team Member had:

• A valid Food Handlers certification.
