A community service organization in Ottawa is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to manage kitchen operations and ensure nutritional needs are met for residents. The ideal candidate will have a Culinary Skills Certificate, safe food handling certification, and experience in a supervisory role within a commercial kitchen. This position includes weekend shifts and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Position Purpose summary: The Food Services supervisor supports the Coordinator in ensuring the nutritional needs of the residents of the Ottawa Booth Centre are met through the ongoing smooth and efficient management of the food services department, practicing and enforcing safe food handling standards. The Supervisor is solely responsible for the operations of the kitchen in the absence of the Coordinator.
Hours of Work - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The target hiring range for this position is $23.28 to $29.10 with a maximum of $34.92. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
