Job Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Report directly to the Dietary Supervisor and the Site General Manager.
2. Provide food service and prepare food for Lodge residents.
3. Perform dishwashing and maintain cleanliness of Food Service areas.

Qualifications:

1. Possess a positive rapport with seniors, and be friendly and helpful as a team player.
2. Exhibit a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.
3. Experience in a commercial kitchen, with Food Safety knowledge and training considered assets.
4. Physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
5. Maintain high standards of hygiene and personal appearance.
6. Have current First Aid and CPR certifications, renewed every three years.
7. Possess a clear and current criminal record check.

Schedule:

1. 14 shifts / 112 hours in a 28-day rotation, 0.70 FTE
2. Alternating 5 days on / 5 days off, and 4 days on / 4 days off rotations
3. Work hours: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
4. Benefits eligibility after 3 months
