Join Our Team As A Food Service Attendant!

Part-time Opportunity available

As a Food Service Attendant under the direction of the Culinary Manager, you are responsible for the delivery and service of meals, nourishments, and the preparation of dietary areas.

Required Traits and Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed or enrolled in a Food Service Worker program at an established institution under the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, 2002, or a Food Service Worker program provided by a registered private career college approved by the Superintendent of private career colleges under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005, as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021 ss. 79 and Ontario Regulation 84/22 (1) (preferred).
  • Appropriate food service experience, skills, and knowledge in institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality settings.
  • A valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred).
  • Two years of dietary experience in a Long Term Care home (preferred).
  • Demonstrates an active interest in ongoing education.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
