Candidates must complete two years of Secondary School or equivalent, obtain a Food Service Worker Certificate, and have at least one year of dietary experience in a health care facility. Qualifications
Successful completion of two years of Secondary School or approved equivalent.
Must hold a Food Service Worker Certificate or enrolled in a training program to obtain it.
Completion of an approved Food Safety Course is required.
Minimum one year’s experience in the dietary department of a health care facility.
Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of food preparation, service, delivery, and clean-up.
Comply with Ministry of Health LTC Standards and safety policies.
