Job description

The Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation, assembly, and service of food items while ensuring a high standard of customer service. This role requires adherence to established food safety, food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming food service environment.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and assemble food items for client meals and snacks in accordance with established recipes, production standards, and portioning requirements.

Ensure accuracy in meal preparation and service by following client-specific dietary requirements, meal selections, and special instructions.

Coordinate the setup and breakdown of food service stations to support efficient and timely meal service.

Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive, professional, and respectful attitude toward clients and coworkers.

Demonstrate general knowledge of therapeutic diets and adhere to established dietary requirements.

Perform warewashing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and food service equipment.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following Aramark's food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

Comply with Aramark's Standards of Operation, corporate policies, and Business Conduct Policy.
