Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Prepare daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components and storage requirements.
4. Ensure proper storage of food in a sanitary manner.
5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
6. Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items, beverages, and add garnishments for presentation.
8. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
9. Follow food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness.
10. Adhere to uniform policies and connect daily with the manager for menu updates.
11. Supervise food temperature requirements.
12. Maintain organized work and storage areas, including cleaning duties.
13. Perform other duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
14. This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
