About the Job

Food Service Worker:

• Portioning and serving meals and beverages within a dining room and/or cafeteria operation.
• Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area.
• Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit.
• Assembles beverages and food items - tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads, bag lunches, items for Meals on Wheels program.
• Setting up and delivering meal carts.
• Cleaning of food service areas.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 05:30 to 13:40, 08:30 to 16:40, 05:45 to 13:55, 09:30 to 17:40, 06:00 to 14:10, 09:40 to 17:40, 06:45 to 14:55, 11:00 to 19:10, 07:00 to 15:10, 11:45 to 19:55 hours.
