Our client, a food services provider, is currently seeking Food Service Team Members for their client located near Meaford, ON. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is confident and comfortable working in a busy setting. They’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, superior attention to detail, and experience working in a kitchen or cafeteria like setting. This is a full-time position estimated to run until the end of August but could be a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Day or afternoon shifts available with wage starting at $19.00 per hour.

About The Role

The Food Service Team Member role assists in the production and serving of boxed lunches for a large clientele daily. The ideal candidate for this role will be reliable, personable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to pay attention to detailed customer orders and a willingness to assist team members will be the keys to success for this role. Other duties may include:

  • Assisting Production of Products for Boxed Lunches
  • Serving Hot Food Items During Mealtimes
  • Assisting in Preparation & Delivery of Catering
  • Cleaning & Organizing All Workstations & Customer Areas
  • Setting Up & Tearing Down Workstations
  • Knowing & Complying with Safe Food Handling
  • Participating in Joint Health & Safety Committee Meetings
  • Participating in Workplace Inspections & Accident Reporting
  • Other Tasks as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Minium Post-Secondary Education
  • 1 year in Food Services Environment (Kitchen, Cafeteria or Restaurant)

Requirements

  • Reliability Clearance Certificate
  • PPE as required and Provided
