Job summary

Bento Inc. in Arnprior is seeking a Part-time Food Service Team Member to join our sushi operation. You will prepare sushi and other menu items, maintain food safety standards, track production, and assist with inventory and ordering alongside store staff.

No prior sushi experience is required; full training is provided, and you will use Bento tools to update production data while contributing to a positive guest experience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required; sushi experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable using basic technology for communication and training.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Location and hours

• Metro:375 Daniel Street South, Arnprior, ON K7S 3K6 | Sunday to Saturday: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Food Service Team Members play a key role in preparing high-quality sushi while ensuring food safety standards, tracking production, managing inventory, and collaborating with store employees in a fast-paced environment. Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required.

• Prepare sushi and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain accurate logs.
• Track daily production and assist in kitchen operations.
